Melissa was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, on June 12, 2000 (a Gemini, if that means anything to you), and moved to the United States with her mom when she was 10 years old. That journey profoundly shaped her identity and ignited a commitment to social issues.
Currently an MBA student at Florida International University, Melissa also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Roger Williams University.
